ABOUT US
We, along with several other fishermen, were talking about the hugely successful 100% payback circuit in northeast Ohio ran by Rory Franks. Our question, to ourselves, came to be WHY NOT HERE TO? That gave birth to further discussions revolving around structuring a 100% circuit for "around here".
What you see detailed in the various pages on this website are the results of these discussions to date. There are differences, of course, but that's to be expected as we're trying to fine tune a circuit that's attractive for folks in central and northwest Ohio as well as "other" regions of Ohio who may wish to avail themselves of some of Ohio's better inland lakes.
We want everyone to know, right up front, that not only is this circuit a guaranteed 100% PAYBACK circuit, it's also a "work in progress". By this we mean that we'll continually try to better the circuit via YOUR input as to what YOU'D like to see.
Logically we can't incorporate all suggestions but we'll certainly try to adopt those which we feel will truly benefit the entire field.
For those who have previously fished some of Rory's events, rest assured we're not trying to "take his anglers", we've targeted a different geographic group, and we have nothing but positive regards for our northeast Ohio friends (remembering that we've fished (and still do) the events to).
Also, we want everyone to know that we're NOT targeting any other tournament circuits/trails with what we're offering, there's room for everyone based on what the anglers choose to participate in. We just feel that it's about time we have a circuit around here which gives EVERYTHING back that YOU put in--100%.
I've used the term "we" a lot and I'd like everyone to know who the "we" are as they relate to making the OMBTT "grow", in a nutshell it's MY/YOUR tournament crew, without them you'd not have the level of professionalism you do.

OUT THIRD YEAR AND WE HOPE - OUR FIRST FULL-YEAR. 2010 should be our breakout year, with all of our events full and a waiting list of those who want to fish the BEST OF THE BEST. We have instituted several "new" features since we've begun. For one thing, we understand that there's occasions when a partner can't make it due to another commitment. For that reason, we allow the use of an Alternate as long as one of the team members fishes as well. Another change, when it comes to the Classic only, we understand that there's also times when a partner may not be able to participate, so we've provided for the pairing of a member of another team which finds itself in the same position, that is, one of that team's partner's also finding themselves without a partner.
