We, along with several other fishermen, were talking about the hugely successful 100% payback circuit in northeast Ohio ran by Rory Franks. Our question, to ourselves, came to be; WHY NOT HERE? That gave birth to further discussions revolving around structuring a 100% Payback circuit for central Ohio.

What you see detailed in the various pages on this website are the results of these discussions. There are differences, of course, but that's to be expected as we're trying to fine tune a circuit that's attractive for folks in central and northwest Ohio as well as "other" regions of Ohio who may wish to avail themselves of some of Ohio's better inland lakes.

We want everyone to know, right up front, that not only is this circuit a guaranteed 100% PAYBACK circuit, it's also a "work in progress". By this we mean that we'll continually try to better the circuit via YOUR input as to what YOU'D like to see.

Logically we can't incorporate all suggestions but we'll certainly try to adopt those which we feel will truly benefit the entire field.

For those who have previously fished some of Rory's events, rest assured we're not trying to "take his anglers", we've targeted a different geographic group, and we have nothing but positive regards for our northeast Ohio friends (remembering that we've fished (and still do) the events to).

Also, we want everyone to know that we're NOT targeting any other tournament circuits/trails with what we're offering, there's room for everyone based on what the anglers choose to participate in. We just feel that it's about time we have a circuit around here which gives EVERYTHING back that YOU put in--100%. In line with this, we feel that once this philosophy becomes entrenched, i.e., 100% paybacks, then the "other" competitive angling circuits will also follow suit, either voluntarily or upon pressure exerted by their own anglers.

We'd be remiss if we didn't point out the fact that we could never do what we do without the assistance of those wo help us with the myriad tasks associated with running the circuit; the boat check-in crew in the morning, the registration and tournament committee, the check-in boat, the weigh-in crew and tally crew and, even more importantly, THE FOOD FOLKS.
